Frequently Asked Questions

A few common questions about getting started. If you don't see your question here, please reach out.

Do you accept insurance?

+

I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. I am happy to provide a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Do you offer in-person or telehealth?

+

I offer both in-person visits on the Upper East Side and secure telehealth sessions in New York State via a HIPAA compliant platform. We can discuss which format is the best fit for you during our initial consultation.

What is your cancellation policy?

+

I ask for at least 48 hours notice for any cancellation or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice are charged the full session fee. Late cancellations or no-shows delay my work and do not allow me to give the slot away to other clients.

Where are you licensed?

+

I am a clinical psychologist licensed in New York State and authorized to practice both in-person and virtually within this jurisdiction. My license number is 028552.

How do I get started?

+

Reach out to me by email or phone and we'll set up a brief consultation call to discuss fees and scheduling. Next, we will schedule an initial intake, prior to which you will fill out a consent form and review my practice policies.
